Are you looking for something fun to do with family and friends on the North Fork? Need a unique date idea? North Fork Scavenger Hunts are easy-to-play, self-guided tours (on your smartphone). Drive your car out to Eastern Long Island, and find landmarks, iconic treasures, and secret spots between Aquebogue and Orient. It’s a trip back in time – a time when life was simple (and still is). It’s an opportunity for you to go on a special adventure.
This is an area rich in history. The Native American Corchaug tribe once lived here and the English later settled in 1640. The North Fork has also been a destination for pirates, rumrunners and more recently vacationers and day-trippers. Surrounded by water it has been a destination even before the Long Island Railroad laid tracks out to Greenport in the mid 1800s. Today people enjoy this slower-paced lifestyle that’s rich in history, agriculture, maritime activities, and charm. There are also over 50 wineries in this area known as “Long Island Wine Country!”
For less than the cost of taking your family to the movies, you could be outside, getting some exercise, and learning something new. Explore and find famous landmarks, iconic treasures, and secret spots on the North Fork, of Long Island. It is a trip back in time to when life was simple.
North Fork Hunt #2
Greenport to Orient
The rich history of the area dates to 1640 when the English first settled and where sea captains later built their homes. Landmarks include colonial New England, classic Victorian, and iconic Americana.
Please bring a non-perishable food item for the bonus question included in each scavenger hunt.
How to Play

Fill in the information for the hunt including team name and email.

Make payment with any major credit or debit card.

Pick a time – although you can actually play anytime you want that day.

After you book and pay for the hunt, a special link will appear in your email to start.

If you lose your connection to the hunt, return to your email to start where you left off.
- 8
Each hunt is good for 7 days. If you need extra time complete your hunt, or you decide to postpone the start, you can continue on another day (within the 7 day window).
