Is the price per person? Or per scavenger hunt?
The price covers your group which for optimum fun we recommend 2 to 5 people. Please remember that you need a seatbelt and room in your car for each group member.
Can two people use their phones?
Yes, you can add one additional phone. When you register click invite on the bottom of the page. There is a QR code or link to use.
Are there any other extra costs?
There are no other additional costs. Of course, you may want to stop along the way for ice cream, food, or drinks for optimum fun for everyone in the group, and we have designed the questions and puzzles to require a bit of teamwork in most cases.
Does everyone in my group get to play?
Yes. You can take turns reading each question out loud to your group. Also, take turns taking photos or being in a photo. The whole group works together (teamwork) to solve each task along the scavenger hunt. Only one person submits each answer for the group.
Can we have multiple teams play?
Yes, it is a lot of fun to be competitive. You can have multiple teams. You will have to book each team separately and need a car for each team. Try to get a higher score than your friends, and earn a high position on the leaderboard.
How do we see the results on the leaderboard?
When you complete the scavenger hunt, click the trophy icon in the top right corner. It will show you the high scores and times.
What app do I have to install?
There is no app to install! Just purchase a scavenger hunt on our website, create your team info, and include your email. Include your information and email. Two emails will be sent to you – a confirmation and shortly after that a unique link to start the hunt.
What if I accidentally close my browser, how do I finish my scavenger hunt?
Just go to the email you used to register and there is a link to open the scavenger hunt. You will get back to where you left off.
What if for some reason we do not finish the hunt?
Our hunts stay active for 7 days after booking. You can complete it anytime within that time period.
What if I want to cancel?
If you cancel more than 24 hours before your hunt, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your start time, then you can reschedule for a future date.
What if it rains?
Sometimes it is even more fun in the rain. Just dress appropriately for the weather. And what else is there to do for fun on a rainy day anyway? You can also choose to finish your hunt another day within in the 7-day active window.
Why do we have to bring a non-perishable food item?
We like to give back to the community. There are various food banks, and food pantries on the North Fork that offer free food to those who need it. Each hunt has a Bonus Question to locate one. Thank you for your donation.
Do you offer group discounts for clubs and organizations?
Yes, this is a popular destination event for car clubs and other organizations. Our leaderboard adds an element of friendly competition. Contact us with your request and information.
Do you offer custom team-building hunts for companies and businesses?
Yes, we will be doing them in Greenport or at a couple of wineries – from problem-solving games to photo challenges and trivia, we have a diverse array of activities that we will work with you and your team on. Contact us with your request and information.
